As the Omni Merchandiser, you are working in one of the central functions of Sales team. You will work closely with all other departments within local & HQ global sales team, global buying team, Marketing & Communication team etc. We are looking for an enthusiastic and strategic person with a deep interest in fashion retail business.
Reporting to the Head of Merch, you will be responsible for maximizing selling & profit while driving retail sales performance and customer centricity in all parts of your work. And you will be the key player in creating the best retail customer experience for our customers.
Job Description
- Closely monitor sales, stock levels and product performance on a weekly basis, taking timely in-season actions to optimize business results. Including but not limited to allocation, stock transfers, OMNI move, and other actions to optimize sales and stock performance for stores.
- Provide assortment and buying input to the Global Buying and Controlling teams regularly, identifying sales potential through a combination of local market insights, customer trends and data-driven analysis to constantly improve product offering for CN retail stores.
- Drive sale strategies and execution to optimize stock turnover and stock to sales rate.
- Collaborate with the VM team to deliver impactful campaigns and key product launches that drive retail customer experience.
- Cross functional teamwork with stores and warehouse for smooth end to end inventory management, such as incoming, write off, backstock, pack down strategies.
- Merchandising & product information handover to marketing, PR, & retail staff when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical capabilities with proven proficiency in advanced Excel.
- Solid background in physical store merchandising is required, with a strong understanding of E-commerce operations highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of effective team collaboration.
- Highly proactive with a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Willingness to travel as required by business needs.
- Full professional fluency in both English and Mandarin (both written and verbal).
Additional Information
This is a full-time position with a contract of 40 hours a week.
