Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Sales Market Sales Controller, you secure accurate and forward looking financial planning and controlling for the Sales Market. You localize global QCP frameworks, steer OPEX and profitability, and provide strong analysis and business partnering to support sustainable cashflow and commercial decisions.

You will:

  • Monitor sales, salary and workforce plans together with Workforce Management Specialists, challenging and supporting Area teams to meet productivity targets.
  • Provide actionable financial insights to improve trading outcomes and support business growth.
  • Track and follow up on initiatives to improve sales and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls and internal processes.
  • Act as a business partner to Sales, Expansion and HR, aligning resources with market priorities.
  • Support Sales Market leadership with financial evaluations, scenario analysis and cashflow management.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll collaborate closely with Sales Market leadership, Controlling team, Expansion, HR, Accounting, Work Force Management Specialist. You will work cross- functionally with commercial teams and financial stakeholders to secure aligned planning, strong reporting and relevant decision support.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with…

  • Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a similar field.
  • ~3–5+ years’ experience in financial controlling, planning or FP&A; retail or multi‑channel experience is a plus.
  • Strong financial intelligence with experience in P&L management, OPEX control and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial planning/BI tools (Power BI, ERP systems).

  • Strong in analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to turn data into clear actions.
  • Skilled in understanding retail KPIs and seasonality.
  • Strong communicators with stakeholder‑management capability, balancing commercial and financial perspectives.

JOIN US

This is a full-time position, based Hamburg or Berlin, following a hybrid working model with four days per week in the office. The role also requires willingness to travel between Berlin and Hamburg based on business needs.
