Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a People Relations Specialist, you ensure legal frameworks are effectively implemented to secure compliance, promote a positive work environment, and enable a fair, consistent, and engaging employee experience. You drive constructive relations with Belgian & Luxembourg employee representatives.
You will:
- Ensure adherence to Belgian & Luxembourg labour laws, regulations, and collective agreements while driving a consistent and compliant approach to People Relations.
- Partner with the People team and Managers to deliver People Relations strategies that balance global direction with local compliance and employee needs.
- Lead the Belgian Works Council, Health & Safety Committee and Trade Union Delegation, as well as the Luxembourg Union Delegation.
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with the employee representatives to support a collaborative employee relations climate.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on labour law, work environment, well-being, and employee case management, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
- Support the management of individual employee cases, internal investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to secure a safe, healthy, and inclusive work environment that promotes employee well-being and employee engagement.
- Lead local initiatives to strengthen People Relations capabilities and support organizational change.
- Facilitate training and communication for Managers, Area Teams and Store Management to strengthen their knowledge in labor relations, health & safety, and employee engagement.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will be part of the Benelux People Team and report to the People Manager. You will collaborate closely with all functions in the People Team, Area Teams, Store managers and the Prevention Advisor. You will work cross-functionally to drive people processes, support business needs and ensure consistent HR practices across functions.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for someone with…
- Master in Law, Master in Social Law or equivalent relevant experience in Labour Relations.
- Proven experience in Labour Relations, People Relations.
- Good knowledge of Belgian Labour Law, collective bargaining, and health & safety regulations - knowledge of Luxembourg Labour Law being a plus.
- Fluency in Dutch/French and English.

- Proven ability to manage complex employee cases and collective negotiations.
