Job Description
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Pattern Maker to join H&M Kids. Our Kids division creates fashion for the next generation – combining great design with comfort, durability and playful expression. Now we’re looking for two experienced Pattern Makers who wants to be part of shaping products that feel just right for the Kids customer.
This is a full-time role based at our HQ in Stockholm.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Pattern Maker in H&M Kids, you play a crucial role in translating design intent into commercially successful garments that fit, function and inspire on the child’s terms. You will work closely with designers, product developers and key stakeholders to ensure optimal fit, silhouette and quality throughout the product development process — from the first sketch to production readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Create, refine and execute patterns across the Kids assortment, ensuring great fit, comfort and silhouette (for sizes 44–170)
Collaborate closely with Design, Product Development and Production teams to secure design vision, fit accuracy and cost efficiency
Ensure fit & size meet H&M’s quality, safety, sustainability and compliance standards
Identify fit risks early and propose creative, technical solutions to improve the product
Apply strong technical knowledge in construction, fit, grading and materials to support both function and fashion
Work with suppliers globally to secure pattern execution and garment construction in production
WHO YOU ARE
A degree in Pattern Making and at least 3 years of relevant work experience
Strong technical knowledge and interest in patterns, fit and technical solutions, keeping a commercial, fashion-driven mindset.
Experience working with patterns in CAD system and 3D tools such as CLO
Strong interest in patterns, fit and technical solutions
You combine an eye for silhouette and playful details with a deep understanding of fit, comfort and how children grow and move.
You have a collaborative approach and communicate clearly across functions and cultures. You are solution-oriented, detail-driven and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where creativity and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.
You are passionate about creating relevant, well-fitted and inspiring fashion for the Kids customer.
Prior experience within Kids wear is meriting

This is a temporary role for 1 year. We are looking to hire a total of 2 Pattern Makers.
