Are you passionate about fashion, driven by results, and excited about turning creative ideas into commercial success? We are looking for a Product Developer with a strategic mindset, a passion for product, and a collaborative spirit to join our Basic Jersey team at H&M Womenswear.
This is a full‑time position based at our HQ in Stockholm, Sweden.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
In this role as a Product Developer, you’ll play an important part in shaping the H&M Women Basic Jersey assortment. You’ll define and drive both short‑ and long‑term plans for your category, ensuring they align with our overall assortment direction. With a sharp eye for jersey, a strong commercial understanding and the ability to translate trends into relevant product opportunities, you’ll identify seasonal keys and respond quickly to what’s emerging. You’ll continuously refine our product and component work to build a strong and competitive jersey offer.
You’ll take ideas all the way from concept to final product- pushing development forward and securing smooth coordination across teams in a fast‑moving environment. You’ll work closely with a Product Manager, Planner, Designer and Pattern Maker and collaborate with our production team to bring each piece to life with the right quality, fit and feel. Your passion for jersey and your drive to make things happen will be essential in creating high‑quality, on‑trend products that truly resonate with our customers.
WHO YOU ARE
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience from a similar role as Product Developer or Buyer
- Extensive experience in jersey is highly meritorious
- Education in Textiles, Buying, Fashion or Product Development
- Proven track record in creating products for the womenswear customer with a great sense of fashion and impeccable taste
- A keen eye for current fashion trends with strong fashion intelligence
- A deep passion for products and product development
- Driven, structured and proactive in taking initiatives
- Salesmanship and results oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong team player with a flexible attitude
- Ability to identify opportunities, improvements and efficient solutions
