Job Description

ARKET is a Nordic lifestyle brand within the H&M group with collections for men, women, children and the home, as well as a New Nordic vegetarian café. ARKET entered China market in 2020 and has since grown rapidly. 

 

As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible to drive, support, enable and develop ARKET’s local marketing team and way of working across functionally to create the best customer growth, engagement, communication and strategy in the short and long term. You will work closely with Global Marketing Team to develop regional IMC strategy which includes digital marketing, social media, PR, in-store marketing and CRM . You need to collaborate closely with local Sales Teams, as well as external agencies to manage commercial and creative brand content, with the ultimate aim to drive sales, to improve overall brand awareness. You have a passion for marketing & communication, retail, fashion and trends in marketing as well as local market trends.

 

Responsibilities:

 

•Develop and implement China marketing strategies to ensure sustainable and profitable business growth as well as brand awareness and brand consideration maximization

•Craft yearly marketing plan and calendar in line with global guideline and local relevancy

•Marketing budget planning & controlling to optimize cost efficiency

•Localize global campaign assets and ensure brand image & message consistency across all channels.

•Lead and plan local marketing activities by partnering closely with global Brand & Communication team and other internal & external stakeholders

•Adapt and execute the global PR plan to local needs and build rapport with media/celebrities/influencers to maximize brand exposure.

•Identify & explore business and marketing opportunities through consumer, market and competitor trends and share insights with HQ

•Assist in negotiation with e-commerce partner for competitive terms, marketing resources to ensure the highest brand visibility on e-market place.

•Develop, drive, engage and manage the local marketing team

•Key contact for local in-store marketing and activities.

Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills:

•Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

•8 years+ in marketing or related, experience in fashion industry and people manager role will be an advantage.

•Fluency in English & Mandarin (verbal and written).

•Excellent communication skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly changing environment.

•Strong project management skills and experienced in leading the development & cross-functional execution; and to set up optimal processes for good cooperation with internal and external partners.

•International experience is highly meritorious.
