Do you want to shape the future of ARKET’s assortment and make a real impact on the brand’s growth journey? 
We are looking for an Assortment Strategy Lead to join our assortment management team and play a key role in driving strategic direction, structure and commercial planning across our collections. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head of Assortment, Head of Design and Head of Assortment Controlling, collaborating with teams across Women, Men, Kids & Home to ensure our assortment is both customer-centric and commercially strong. This is a unique opportunity to influence how we buy, build and evolve our collections – at the heart of ARKET’s brand. 

Your Responsibilities: 

What you will do: 

  • Act as the strategic and analytical right hand to the Head of Assortment. 
  • Drive and develop the assortment strategy, with a focus on buying processes and commercial structure. 
  • Own and lead the assortment timeline including start-ups, closures, framework, and handovers. 
  • Support new growth initiatives such as %markets, wholesale, and franchise. 
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify new opportunities. 
  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects to ensure timely and impactful delivery. 
  • Collaborate across teams to align strategy and drive commercial impact. 
  • Be a senior informal leader within the assortment management team. 

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH 

As part of ARKET’s assortment management team, you will work in close partnership with the Head of Assortment, Head of Design and Head of Assortment Controlling. You will collaborate with assortment teams across Women, Men, Kids & Home to ensure strategic alignment and commercial success. You will report to the Brand Controller and be one of four senior leaders within the assortment function. 

Qualifications

We are looking for people with: 

  • Several years of experience in assortment, preferably as Section Head, Assortment Controller or similar. 
  • Educational background in Business and/or Fashion. 
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset with a business-oriented approach. 
  • Experience in driving buying processes and commercial planning. 
  • Structured and methodical way of working. 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills. 
  • Self-driven and confident in decision-making.

Additional Information

This is a full time temporary contract for 10 months based at our Head Office in Södermalm Stockholm

In this role you will have the flexibility to work both remotely and, from the office. While remote working is part of our offer, approx. 4 days per week office presence is required to foster strong collaborations and team work.
