Business Analyst Store Projects (Optimization of assortment allocation)

Job Description
As a Business Analyst Store Projects, you will be assortment optimalization specialist, responsible to drive and implement regional portfolio focuses and set omni commercial business case per store projects in your region. You will collaborate with and ensure fluent communication across store project teams, Expansion (Retail) and Merchandising. In doing so, you will work proactively to optimize assortment allocation, minimize business losses, and ensure a high level of project implementation.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide commercial input to regional portfolio strategy based on market knowledge and analysis of growth potential.
- Provide fact-based input on space choices, based on the efficiency and sales potential, by: defining customer pain points and omni demand / mapping customer journey / recommending assortment mix and ideal store capacity / recommending right store format in alignment with operational and OMNI components.
- Execute all allocation connected actions for expansion projects, aligned with project phase planning and coordinating timeline with logistic and area team.
- Give relevant input to Leasing Manager for Signing Package for rebuilds and new stores.
- Provide databased feedback to Store Design (global Retail) on layout capacity, with focus on commerciality, data analysis and operational reports to maximize sales productivity.
- Drive SP10 /space optimization approval packages by collecting store information, business cases and action plans.
- Support global functions in the development and roll-out of tests and other global initiatives in your region, through business analysis.
- Participate in project Kick Off meetings with Area, Store Teams, Visual Project Lead and other relevant stakeholders.
- Perform on site visits with Visual Project Lead, to ensure strong commercial execution, optimal customer experience and evaluate further actions.
- Follow up project performance and share learnings with sales markets, region, and global stakeholders.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role as Business Analyst Store Projects, we believe you have extensive knowledge in merchandising and strong understanding of allocation systems and parameters. Knowledge and understanding of store projects flow with different investment levels.
What you need to succeed:
- Project management skills.
- Analytical and business minded.
- Controlling experience is meriting.
- Skilled in linking commercial analysis with store setup and layout.
- Structured, organized and updating timelines, securing that deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Understanding of supply chain and garment flow.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Familiar with tech applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Be available and flexible to travel.
Additional Information
This is a full-time role, based on one-year contract, located in Warsaw, Poland. The Business Analyst Store Projects role is a part of the Expansion Department and reports to the Regional Retail Space Manager.
