Talent Acquisition Partner, Korea & Japan

Job Description

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you play a key part in attracting and hiring of talented and diverse colleagues that share our company values and ambition. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will provide coaching and guidance to hiring managers within your organization on recruitment best practices, including Inclusion & Diversity (I&D), candidate experience, recruitment processes, onboarding, and succession planning. Your efforts will directly contribute to the achievement of our recruitment KPIs, driving the overall success of the team and the organization, covering Korea and Japan markets.

  • Guide hiring managers on effective recruitment strategies, offering recommendations and valuable insights. Ensure their commitment to selecting the right candidates within the agreed timeline, directly contributing to the achievement of recruitment KPIs.
  • Manage the full recruitment process for various roles, including but not limited to store positions, ensuring candidates receive timely, constructive feedback and a positive experience, while aligning with the organization's Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) policies.
  • Train managers using Portfolio Brands’ recruitment training and ATS training, coaching them to select the best candidates based on hiring criteria and ensuring adherence to the correct procedures.
  • Work with H&M Group HR colleagues within the region to stay informed and build successful collaborations with regards to labour market insights, salary and benefits, as well as changes in employee relations and legal requirements.
  • Enhance our employer brand by contributing to social media campaigns, attending career fairs and university events, and showcasing H&M Group as the 'Employer of Choice' for early-career professionals, building a strong talent pipeline.
  • Drive candidate interest and applications through online networking and social media engagement, while proactively exploring innovative strategies to attract talent and build strong pools for high-priority roles.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Lead to establish annual recruitment budgets and ensure agency and advertising expenditures remain within budgetary limits.

Qualifications

As a specialist in a multibrand network organization, you face various demands. Your strength lies in understanding stakeholders and involving them effectively. Additionally, your excellent communication skills allow you to adapt to the needs of the stakeholders you encounter.

You believe in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. You are no stranger to giving feedback, providing inspiration, and motivating others in their day-to-day work. You are a self-starter, have a yes-we-can attitude and are comfortable with working with uncertainty, or limited information.

For this role, we are particularly interested in candidate who have;

  • Proven experience in a recruitment or HR-related role within a head office/area team, or hands-on experience supporting in-house recruitment teams as a coordinator.
  • Experience in recruiting for the Korean market, with a deep understanding of regional hiring practices, cultural nuances, and local talent dynamics.
  • Experience in recruiting for the Japanese market is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in building an attractive employer brand through dynamic social media strategies, campus recruitment initiatives, and open day events is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in the retail industry is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent prioritization skills & are capable of multitasking.
  • Experience in coaching and developing store management teams, with the ability to tailor communication strategies to effectively engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills with a track record of delivering effective solutions.
  • Results-driven, with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding recruitment KPIs to drive success.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Additional Information

This is a full-time contract role based in Korea. The role reports to the Talent Acquisition Lead.
