Tax Accountant

Job Description
As the tax accountant, you will be responsible for supporting not only on VAT returns and tasks, but also supporting on the wide range of other tax requirements and ensuring the regulatory submissions are completed to deadlines. This role will report to the Senior Accountant of Financial Reporting and Tax and collaborate closely with other members of the Accounts. You will work in a fast-paced and within a constantly evolving environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for analysing and preparing the VAT returns for multiple registrations.
- Responsible for maintaining balance sheet reconciliations.
- Contribute to monthly period end close and financial reporting.
- Support in compliance with internal control policies and procedures related to VAT.
- Support the Senior Accountant on other areas within tax, such as PSA, Corporation Tax analysis, duty reconciliations, and ad-hoc tasks.
- Identify potential opportunities for improvements to the tax compliance and reporting processes across the business and supporting implementation.

We are looking for people who have:
- Qualified & Part-Qualified Accountant or Tax advisor (CTA)
- Experience in accountancy or tax compliance, ideally from industry with an international / cross-border remit
- Some knowledge pf transfer pricing concept
- Working knowledge of SAP preferable
- Capable of analysing relevant information, identifying key issues and communicating findings clearly
