Regional Procurement Specialist in Region East Europe

Job Description

As a  Regional Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for the procurement strategy and its implementation in your region with a complete store lifecycle focus including investments, long-term cost, quality, sustainability, and compliance.

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • You work in close collaboration with the Regional Construction and Facilities team to set the procurement strategy for your markets and clearly communicate this to all stakeholders.
  • You manage the contract governance of the markets, through constant follow-up and strategic meetings with vendors. Overseeing the cyclical procurement needs to create a strategic and sustainable process.
  • You set necessary goals and KPIs for procurement and supplier management.
  • You will drive actions and follow-up results on a quarterly and yearly basis.
  • You manage, with support from Group Expansion, procurement tools and templates (in LIMA and outside) such as the RFI/RFP templates and agreement templates.
  • You work closely with all your markets, ensuring an understanding of the procurement strategy as well as goals and targets. You analyze the markets for strategic opportunities.
  • You are representing your region in procurement forums and act as a speaking partner towards other functions.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role of Procurement Specialist , we believe that you are structured and good at conceptualizing ideas and defining conclusions with supporting arguments. You enjoy teamwork and effectively collaborate with a group of diverse people to achieve set goals and targets. 

Besides your personality we see that you have:

  • 3+ years of relevant working experience in Facility Management, Construction, and/or Real Estate, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Preferably a degree in Facility Management, Construction, Civil Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience from working in an international, matrix organization with several stakeholders and seniority levels.
  • Good in planning, designing, driving, and evaluating procurements.
  • Experience in preparing recommendations and presenting procurement cases to various stakeholders – across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in setting and implementing procurement strategies.
  • Ability to cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills, including fluent in English, spoken and written.
  • Flexibility to travel within the region frequently.

Additional Information

This is a full-time job located in Warsaw, Poland. The Regional Procurement Specialist is part of the Expansion department and reports to the Regional Construction & Facilities 
Manager.
