We are looking for an Omni Merchandiser based in our Sales Team in Shanghai, China. This role and scope will focus on maximizing results in E-commerce channels.
Job Description
As Omni Merchandiser, you will maximize net sales and profitability for your E-commerce channels – short & long term. You drive selling through retail/online channel(s) through stock allocation giving the customers what they want with a omni experience in mind.
Core Responsibilities :
- Drive selling and growth through setting clear strategies, commercial focuses and quantified goals.
- Take short and long-term actions to increase concept selling based on relevant analysis – always putting our customer at the center.
- Share concept strategy and commercial priorities with local teams (kick-off materials and weekly).
- Review your commercial plan, actions and selling quarterly and set quantified improvements for next year (In collaboration with Online counterpart)
- Secure commercial impact in store/online by setting the allocation and replenishment strategy on market segments for your concept(s).
- Optimize stock balance between new and previous seasons with allocation for your concept.
- Responsible for reduction cost of your concept(s). Optimize the effect of reductions through sale, activities and price adjustments.
- Work closely with Merchandising team to balance and optimize stock between our channels.
- Know your concept(s): retail situation, fashion level and competitors locally.
- Know your customer: expectations and price willing to pay for key products and key garments types locally.
- Gather feedback from online counterparts and areas for your concept(s) in order to develop your commercial plan.
Qualifications
We believe that you are a strong team player who fosters collaboration across channels, roles, and functions and inspires stakeholders to buy into the product plans to enhance engagement and execution levels.
What you need to succeed:
- 2+ years of experience in merchandising, inventory optimization, or supply and demand planning.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Action driven with a commercial thinking to drive best customer offer and results.
- Curious and excited about finding and testing new ways to optimize our customer offer and selling.
- Driven, structured team player who successfully takes own initiatives to drive your business.
- Has leadership experience/qualities and is a natural team player with straightforward communication skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English.
Additional Information
This is a full-time job, which is located in Shanghai, China. This role is part of the Omni Sales Team and reports to the Head of Merchandising for APAC.
