As a Digital Experience Manager, your role will be pivotal in optimizing the customer journey across all online channels within JP. You will serve as the foremost authority in this domain, tasked with meticulously mapping the customer journey in alignment with the commercial calendar. Your responsibilities extend to ensuring the seamless consistency of site content across various digital platforms.
You will report to E-commerce manager JP and dotted line to Regional Digital Experience Manager
In addition to these critical tasks, you will spearhead the development of essential functions such as online visual merchandising, digital copywriting, and the insightful analysis of customer behavior through advanced analytics. It will be your responsibility to guarantee that the COS Brand ID is effectively conveyed to customers, alongside delivering comprehensive product information that meets the highest standards of clarity and relevance.
Job Description
What you will do:
- Build up both short-term and long-term strategies for COS Site that associate with the goals of customer acquisition and retention.
- Lead the DX team to manage overall site calendar for regular site refreshes, seasonal and promotional campaigns on both OS and EC platforms.
- Collaborate within your E-Commerce team to establish a customer journey that drives profitable Ecommerce selling towards the set targets and goals.
- Work closely and cross-functionally with other key online functions such as Digital Marketing and Online Merchandising to initiate local commercial plan to drive online business.
- Co-work with external business partner to follow up on IT development on site and VM.
- Understand the product and marketing focuses from Global and local Merchandising and Marketing Team, and appropriately translate them to site delivery including but not limited to site content, visual communication.
- Understand the online customer’s expectation through behavior & data analysis, and plan for the constant improvement of UX/website functionality by working closely with IT Team.
- Ensure that the COS Japan e-commerce platform stays in line with COS aesthetics, visually balance the collection of products based on commerciality, branding and seasonal trends

What you need to succeed
- Experienced in web/mobile analytics, metrics gathering, and dashboard reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics, Excel, and related data statistical software
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proven organizational and decision-making abilities
- Sales-driven and result-oriented
- Customer-centric mindset and willing to learn
- Ability to use own initiative and work as part of the team
- Leadership experience in managing a team is preferred
- Excellent communication on English language skills, both verbal & written

This is a full-time permanent contract based at our COS Japan Office in Tokyo.
