Retail Merchandise Lead

Job Description

As Retail Merchandising Lead, you will drive execution of the commercial agenda and merchandising strategy together with Merchandise Managers to exceed financial targets. 

Core Responsibilities includes but is not limited to:

  • Execute regional assortment direction in close alignment to omni merchandising manager.
  • Optimize local selling peaks driven by calendar and customer shopping behavior.
  • Be responsible for all information including but not limited to kick off, sale packs, BF-information.
  • Be up to date with regional assortment and demand & inventory strategy.
  • Pick full price, discount, and sale activities in line with regional merch direction.
  • Execute stock management, sale and EOP in line with the regional strategy.
  • Execute regional guidelines related to assortment and allocation.
  • Follow-up on store stock and resolve issues together with inventory optimization team.
  • Follow up commercial initiatives in store (travel two days a week) to confirm or adjust actions needed to meet the regional merchandising strategy.
  • Follow-up commercial results and KPIs and benchmark between areas, sales markets and other regions.

Qualifications

We believe that you are a strong team player who fosters collaboration across channels, roles, and functions and inspires stakeholders to buy into the product plans to enhance engagement and execution levels.

What you need to succeed:

  • 1+ years of experience in merchandising, inventory optimization, or supply and demand planning.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Strong retail knowledge.
  • Strong in driving commercial product excellence.  
  • Previous experience in executing commercial plans.
  • Previous experience in post-season stock management.
  • Knowledge of operational best practices and routines for physical stores
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. 

Additional Information

This is a full-time job, which is located in Warsaw, Poland with a local contract. The Merchandising lead Digital role is a part of the Merchandising department and report to Merchandise Manager.
