Job Description

In your role as an Engineering Manager for Interfaces/Expansion Pack Team you will be responsible for two teams of 20+ members.

Interfaces team works with the Integration Platform for H&M/Portfolio Brands Online Platforms and Expansion Pack Team serves as an Online Platform for 2 markets.

You will lead cross-functional, multi-competence product teams in close collaboration with key stakeholders, always keeping customers at the heart of our focus. You will work with the strategic vision for your teams and continuously align the product roadmap based on a deep understanding of the market / industry, insights & data on your customers, and input from stakeholders across the company. Furthermore, you will set objectives & key results that your products will drive towards. You will also identify, build, and manage strategic partnerships across products, working to manage dependencies.

Some of your daily work includes:

  1. Set ambitious and clear product mission and OKRs and translate these into a prioritized roadmap and team backlog that drive agreed KPIs
  2. Lead a team of engineers to execute and deliver value  
  3. Ensure the right competence in the team to enable the mission and new technology that are in the roadmap from an integration perspective
  4. Manage the Product backlog and stories and ensure a clear communication to the team on prioritization
  5. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the developments of integration principles and integration solutions
  6. Work with product management and translating needs and pains into re-usable and automated integration solutions
  7. Work closely with Value Stream Leads and other Product Leads to drive strategies

We also believe you have...

1. A minimum of 12 years of experience working with IT Deliveries and at least 3 years of Leadership Experience managing a high-caliber team of 15-20 members. 

2. Strong background in eCommerce solutions/Platforms

3. Strong agile mindset and skilled in planning, prioritizing, execution, and follow ups with cross functional teams

4. Experience of Integration Frameworks and eCommerce engines

5. Experience in RedHat Fuse (JBOSS) or similar technologies

6. Experience in Java based technologies and API development for Commerce platform

7. Experience in Azure Cloud, Kubernetes and CI/CD Pipelines

8. Ability “to get it done” at scale while at the same time ensuring a fun, inclusive and healthy environment
