Region South Europe is one of the 9 regions within the H&M Group and will have its headquarters in Barcelona, Spain. The Region runs across 5 markets: France, Belgium / Luxembourg, Spain / Portugal, Italy, Turkey

Job Description

As part of the ER Regional team and working closely with the ER Manager, your main objective will be to support the implementation of short, medium, and long-term ER strategies for the region, in line with global guidelines and requirements, and to assist, manage and advice on labor topics.

  • You support the regional ER manager in the implementation of strategies and projects, providing legal input and administrative support where necessary.
  • You support regional ER Manager to handle and prevent employee issues 
  • You manage labor issues and topics related to employees and you resolve employees' labor situations.
  • You apply the collective agreement and the labor law, as well as corporate labor policies.
  • You provide support with administrative tasks in ER.
  • You provide support and advise in labor matters to the rest of the HR area and to other areas in the company when needed.
  • You collaborate and support the smooth running of regional and country support projects in ER in line with your knowledge and skills.
  • You will promote change in ER automation and digitalization projects.
  • You will collaborate in the improvement of processes in the ER department, follow-up of action plans and improvement initiatives.
  • You will prepare and follow up on ER reports and indicators as required.
  • You will support labor relations with employees and employee representatives and resolve labor disputes to guarantee and promote a good social climate.
  • You will be part of the labor department and support to to fulfil the company's philosophy and objectives.

  • You have a Labor Relations Degree / Law degree with a specialization in labor law. 
  • You have up to 5 years’ experience within Employee Relations.
  • You are a digital profile and have advanced skills in Word, Excel, Power point and experience with automation process
  • You exhibit agility, support, and dynamism. 
  • You have knowledge of Spanish labor law and management of collective agreements. 
  • You deal with high-pressured situations. 
  • You lead by example and with high integrity, as well as with vision. 
  • You are a strong team player with an open mind, and you have a flexible mindset. 
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of EU labor law will be highly valued.

This position offers a local contract, and it is a requirement to have the necessary work permits and residency in Barcelona. We offer an annual salary of 25K
