We are looking for a Global Senior Merchandiser based in Porto office for Footwear, Bags and Belts products. Make your career possible!  

As the Global Senior Merchandiser,  you are responsible to create the Global best deal ensuring the best customer offers.

You have the ownership over the entire workflow for making the necessary assessments to ensure the best price, right capacity and capability per set supplier strategy.

You are in charge of driving development, quotation and order follow- up processes; securing on time deliveries, sample process, prices, flexibility plans along with a focus on quality and sustainability.

You seek opportunities for cooperation and consolidation in your region and across other production offices.

You are responsible to understand competitive environment to be able to set-up and drive the strategy aligned with our customer expectations and Arket’ s objectives

You work closely with the Global Merchandising Senior Manager towards achieving team goals.

You collaborate effectively with the Collection team in buying office.  You also work closely with Group Production, other brand and assortment  to secure best production and to optimize procurement procedures.

You are a point of contact with existing and new suppliers, building and maintaining strong relationships with them. You monitor suppliers’ performance, develop and manage supplier relations related to short and long-term goals of production by considering all success factors .

You are responsible for following the company purchasing practices and make sure systems are updated,  information is shared and available for analysis.

You act with high levels of professionalism at all times while at the same time behaving as an ambassador of ARKET and H&M group values towards everyone you engage with.

You display the negotiation skills needed to secure the best deal.

You inspire and encourage your peers and stakeholders to achieve great results through clear and proactive communication always securing that messages are received and understood.

You enjoy working with a diverse team. You have experience and an extensive knowledge working with leather products, footwear, bags or belts.
