As a Shift Leader at our Gympie restaurant, you play a critical role in how each shift runs - leading the team, maintaining standards, and ensuring every guest leaves with a great experience.

This is a hands on leadership role where you will be responsible for driving performance on shift and supporting the team in a fast paced environment.

About the Role

As a Shift Leader, you will:

• Lead shifts and support the team to deliver strong service and food quality
• Coach, motivate and direct crew throughout the shift
• Maintain high standards across food safety, cleanliness and operations
• Ensure smooth shift execution, especially during peak periods
• Communicate clearly and keep the team focused and on task
• Work closely with senior management to drive performance and consistency

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience leading or supervising a team in a fast-paced environment
• Is confident taking charge and directing a team during busy periods
• Leads from the front and is not afraid to get involved
• Communicates clearly and holds team members accountable
• Takes pride in high standards and consistent execution
• Brings energy and focus to every shift

This role requires:

• Availability across evenings and weekends
• Ability to work late nights
• Flexibility to support peak trade periods
• Responsible Service of Alcohol
• First Aid & CPR - these can be obtained on employment
