Job Description

To support the exciting expansion across our Victoria and Western Australia’s market’s, we are looking for a dedicated State Operations Manager to have boots on the ground in Victoria leading our Franchise operations across both states.  

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of hands-on experience in coaching, leading, and managing a team to drive food excellence, a remarkable guest experience, profitability, and set us up for future growth. 

You will lead the VIC & WA Franchise Operations team and support the general running of their portfolio of restaurants, develop the team through coaching and training opportunities and be responsible for working with Franchisees to support the operational and financial management of restaurants across 4 main pillars:  

  • Food and guest experience: ensuring food safety, food quality and 100% guest experience. 
  • People: ensuring we hire the best talent; our values are lived each day and we continue train and develop an already high performing Culinary and Operations team. 
  • Safety: ensuring 100% safety compliance in line with GYG food safety and WHS requirements. 
  • Profitability: management and effective control of the Western Australia corporate restaurants P&L. 

This hands-on position will play a key role in our continued growth plans, with a healthy pipeline of new restaurants on the way.

  • Experience in leading and managing a team to deliver in the KPIs outlined above 
  • Experience delivering exceptional operational execution in hospitality or QSR
  • Exceptional coaching, mentoring and communication skills 
  • Ability to influence business owners and adapt rapidly to changing operations
  • Hands on experience in driving profitability and achieving KPIs
