Occupational Therapy at Griffith is renowned for delivering a contemporary occupation-centred programme that creates graduates ready for current and future practice contexts. We are known for our innovative curriculum, high impact research, and strong industry partnerships. 

We are seeking a part-time (0.4 FTE) continuing Associate Lecturer (Level A) to join the occupational therapy team in a role that contributes to teaching and professional practice education. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality student learning opportunities with opportunities to support broader program learning and teaching priorities such as simulation and interprofessional education. You will have opportunities to contribute to innovative occupational therapy research.  

 As an Associate Lecturer, you will: 

• Develop and deliver engaging, evidence-based teaching for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) program

• Collaborate with academic staff within the discipline and across disciplines to address professional standards and accreditation requirements 

• Contribute to research within the discipline and the school.

This is a continuing, part-time (40%) position based at Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site university you may be required to work across other locations.

Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level A range $82,704 - $111,219 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $96,764 - $130,126 per annum.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a commitment to contemporary occupation-centred and evidence-based practice, bring a passion for teaching and an innovative approach to student learning. You will have experience teaching and/or supervising students in clinical, professional and/or university settings. You will hold registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
