The School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences is entering an exciting period of growth.

With increasing student demand and a strong commitment to delivering an exceptional pharmacy education experience, we are expanding our Pharmacy team and seeking a Lecturer (Level B) who wants to help shape the next chapter of our success.

You will bring your contemporary pharmacy expertise into the classroom, inspire future pharmacists, and help create learning experiences that connect education with real-world practice.

As a Lecturer in Pharmacy, you will contribute to teaching across Pharmacy Practice, Pharmacotherapy and related areas, while also supporting curriculum development, professional engagement and student research opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and delivering engaging teaching and assessment in Pharmacotherapy and/or Pharmacy Practice.
• Creating an outstanding student experience across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Contributing to course coordination, curriculum development and innovative approaches to learning.
• Supporting Honours and postgraduate pharmacy students through high-quality research experiences.
• Building industry and community partnerships and contributing to research that influences pharmacy education and practice.

This is a part-time (0.8 FTE), continuing position based at Griffith University’s Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.

Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $117,076 - $139,031 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $136,979 - $162,667 per annum.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree in Pharmacy and have substantial professional experience relevant to the discipline, including at least 5 years working within a clinical pharmacy environment.

You will have:

• Current professional registration as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Pharmacotherapy and/or Pharmacy Practice.
• Experience teaching Pharmacotherapy and/or Pharmacy Practice in a higher education setting will be highly regarded.
• A commitment to student-centred learning and the ongoing development of pharmacy education.
