About the role
The Service Centre Senior Analyst supports the delivery of accurate, compliant, and efficient financial operations across the University. Working within the Service Centre, you will manage financial processing, reconciliations, and payables activities while providing excellent customer service and resolving complex issues.
This role plays an important part in maintaining strong fraud and corruption controls, ensuring compliance with University policies and financial frameworks. As a collaborative team member, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide flexible support across finance functions as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Process financial transactions accurately and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including invoices and credit notes.
- Manage reverse invoicing and reconciliations across Campus Life and Concur systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Provide guidance and coaching on complex matters, supporting team capability, workload management, and issue resolution.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to stakeholder enquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Apply strong finance systems knowledge to support compliance, improve processes, and drive operational excellence.
- Prioritise competing tasks, solve problems proactively, and escalate complex issues when required.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all financial processing and reporting activities.
About You
- The occupant of this position will hold a tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

This is a full time fixed term opporutntiy for 12 months based at either the Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations

Salary
HEW 6 Salary – Base range - $94,966.18 - $101,295.51 + 17% superannuation. Full package range - $111,110.42 - $118,515.75.
