Job Description
The School of Nursing and Midwifery is seeking to appoint two Senior Lecturer (Level C) in Nursing at the Gold Coast Campus.
In these positions, the successful applicant will contribute to both teaching and research in the school. One of these positions has an emphasis on teaching and leadership. For both positions, you will teach and convene courses in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, supervise Honours and Higher Research Degree students. Where required, this position will also act as program coordinator and/or other leadership roles.
These are continuing full time positions based at Griffith University Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site university you may be required to work across other locations.
Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level C range $143,418 - $165,374 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $167,799 - $193,487 per annum.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will
- Hold unrestricted registration and license to practice as a registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA).
- Possess a PhD, in Nursing or related area.
- Demonstrate a strong track record in curriculum development, course coordination, and teaching excellence.
- Have proven success in attracting competitive research grant funding and a track record of publishing.
- Desirable is AHPRA endorsement to prescribe as a registered nurse/nurse practitioner, or experience in Infection Prevention and Control.
