Job Description

Located in a tranquil bush setting in Toohey Forest, Griffith’s Early Childcare centres welcome children from three months to five years. Our dedicated team offers a nurturing, engaging and stimulating environment assisting the children of Griffith University staff, students and the wider community to grow and develop their potential.

With your passion for working with children and strong desire to build a career within early childhood education, join a team who will share your journey.

  • Support the Lead Educator to achieve the efficient and effective running of a childcare room.
  • Assist with implementing the various aspects of the day-to-day running of the ‘Indoor/Outdoor’ program.
  • Build attachments with the children, nurturing, protecting and promoting their wellbeing.

In addition, you will have:

  • Completion of a Certificate 3 in Early Education and Care or studying towards a Diploma in early childhood or have Diploma in early education and care services.

This is a continuing, full-time position and will be primarily based at Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan).

Salary Range
The pay rate is dependent on level of qualification as per the Griffith University EBA, + 17% superannuation.
