Job Description

As a Finance Officer you will provide proactive, timely, and accurate financial and resource information, advice, processing and activities regarding the management of international student financial processes for the Griffith International Team.

The Finance Officer roles in Griffith International have knowledge across a multitude of areas including agent commission, overseas student health care, international student refunds, financial aid, OS-HELP loan application and international student scholarships and may also support other general finance requirements of the Griffith International team. This particular secondment role, initially, will be responsible for overseas student health cover (OSHC) and international student refund processing.

You will also have a passion within finance and sound understanding of financial practices. This role would suit someone with great hands on practical experience within a finance team.

What we can offer
This is a fixed term (ending 19.12.2025), full time position primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.

Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 5 range $77,761 - $87,235 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $90,980 - $102,064 per annum.
