About the Opportunity
The purpose of the Senior Diversity & Inclusion Partner role is to contribute to the University’s strategic workplace diversity and inclusion goals. The role leads Griffith University’s Athena SWAN accreditation and awards program and is responsible for data analyses and insights that inform evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Lead (in consultation with the Provost and the Senior Lead [Inclusion & Development] Griffith University’s next Cygnet submission for the Athena SWAN accreditation and awards program.
- Contribute to focus group consultations and analysis and devise successful, evidence-based actions.
- Contribute to the next Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) submission.
- Contribute to the University’s internal and external monitoring and reporting requirements on equity, diversity and inclusion through the interpretation of general trends in staff data, and the creation of reports to Griffith Council.
- Contribute to the University’s governance structures on equity, diversity and inclusion, including Secretarial roles.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and University policies and procedures, including equity and health & safety and exhibit good practice in relation to same.
- Be a leading example of the principles and values embodied in the University’s Code of Conduct, and behave, act and communicate at all times to reflect fairness, ethics and professionalism.
About you
- The occupant of this position will hold relevant postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field, and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

What we can offer
This is a full time, fixed term opportunity for 6 months based at our Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other campuses.
HEW 8 Salary – FTE $108,764.25 - $122,356.68 + 17% super. Full package FTE - $127,254.18 - $143,157.32.
