Job Description

With your base at Nathan, work across the northern campuses including Logan, South Bank and Mount Gravatt. Assist the team to set up and remove furniture and items for rooms set up for events, office moves, re-arranging rooms and storage of equipment and furniture.  This is all on site work, so you get to know the environment and people.

This is a continuing, part time position based at the Nathan campus.

Duties

  • Move, transfer and replace furniture as required within campuses
  • Set-up and remove furniture and other equipment for functions and events including exam periods
  • Place furniture and equipment within the appropriate areas
  • Provide basic assistance as required within the Facilities Management team

The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 2 range $54,949 - $56,186 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $62,290 - $65,737 per annum.

Qualifications

About you

  • Physical ability to move furniture safely
  • Knowledge of manual handling techniques or be willing to be trained in this
  • Current Class C driving licence
  • This role would suit someone with a positive can do attitude, who likes to work alongside their team – there is a culture of helping each other out
