We’re looking for an Assistant Manager to join the team at the iconic Turf Tavern in Oxford – a pub with a story like no other.

Tucked away in the heart of Oxford, the Turf Tavern dates all the way back to 1381 and is one of the city’s most historic and recognisable pubs. With its characterful rooms, courtyard beer gardens, great food and fantastic drinks range, this is a venue that keeps customers coming back.

As Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to help lead the day-to-day running of the pub. You’ll be hands-on, visible and ready to lead from the front – making sure the team has everything they need to deliver great service and an excellent customer experience.

From coaching and developing your team to supporting with service, standards and the overall running of the business, you’ll play a key role in making sure the Turf Tavern continues to be a place customers love to visit.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Supervisor or Assistant Manager who’s ready to take the next step and build their career with Greene King.
