Company Description

Fixed Term Contract | Full-time | Project-Based Role

Play a Key Role in a National Transformation Program

We’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst & Tester to join our PIMS (Practice Information Management System) program—one of the most significant transformation initiatives across Greencross. This is a fixed term contract starting July 2026 (or sooner) between 9-12 months.

This role plays a key role in shaping, validating and assuring a modern, integrated system that supports both GP and Specialty & Emergency environments. You’ll work across the full lifecycle—build, configuration, pilot and rollout—ensuring the solution meets both technical and clinical needs.

Make an Impact Across the Business

In this role, you’ll combine technical analysis, documentation, and hands-on testing to ensure the PIMS solution is fit-for-purpose and future-ready.

You’ll partner with SMEs, technical leads and vendors to:

  • Capture and translate business, clinical, and operational requirements

  • Develop detailed user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria

  • Design and document integrations across systems (labs, diagnostics, payments, reporting, APIs and more)

  • Create and maintain technical artefacts including data flows, mappings and interface specifications

  • Support solution design workshops and validate system expectations

Drive Quality Through Testing & Validation

A strong focus of this role is ensuring system quality through structured QA and testing processes. You will:

  • Develop and execute test plans, scripts and end-to-end test scenarios

  • Lead defect identification, triage and re-testing cycles

  • Validate system behaviour, integrations and data outputs

  • Ensure traceability between requirements, configurations and testing outcomes

  • Support data migration validation from legacy systems (e.g. RxWorks)

Support Rollout & Continuous Improvement

As the program progresses, you’ll play a key role in successful deployment by:

  • Supporting clinic readiness, rollout sequencing and validation

  • Assisting training and change teams with technical insights and troubleshooting guidance

  • Providing hands-on support during pilot, hypercare and rollout phases

  • Maintaining structured documentation and contributing to governance processes

About You

You’re a technically strong and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working across both analysis and testing.

You’ll bring:

  • 3–5+ years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or QA Analyst

  • Strong experience documenting integrations, system behaviours and technical requirements

  • Hands-on testing experience including integration and end-to-end testing

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and process mapping skills

  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments

Highly regarded:

  • Experience in healthcare, veterinary or clinical systems

  • Exposure to data migration, system rollout or large-scale transformation programs

  • Familiarity with systems like RxWorks or similar ecosystems

Why Join the PIMS Program?

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a large-scale, business-critical transformation, where your work will directly impact clinics, teams and patient care across the network.

You’ll benefit from:

  • Working on a national program with high visibility and impact

  • Exposure to complex system integrations and modern architecture

  • A collaborative environment across technical, clinical and operational teams

  • The opportunity to influence system design, rollout success and long-term scalability

Interested?

If you’re looking to combine technical analysis with hands-on testing in a meaningful program role, we’d love to hear from you.
