We’re seeking a dedicated Vet Nurse to join our friendly and experienced team at Greencross Vets Noosa, General Practice + Urgent Care!

Formerly AEC Noosa, our well-established and locally loved clinic has evolved into Greencross Vets Noosa + Urgent Care. Gain exposure to emergency cases and work alongside mentors who will help you build the skills, without the overnight shifts! We now offer a more sustainable and community-focused model, combining a high standard of general practice with convenient, walk-in urgent care.

This new approach allows us to provide more consistent and reliable care to our patients, while creating a balanced and rewarding workplace for our team.

In your role, you’ll play a key part in:

• Triage and stabilisation of urgent cases
• Delivering high-quality GP nursing care
• Performing minor procedures when required and assisting veterinarians as needed
• Monitoring patient vital signs and administering medications
• Performing diagnostic tests including bloodwork, radiography, and ultrasound
• Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone

Our roster offers a mix of General Practice and Urgent Care shifts:

GP hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm, Saturday 8:00am – 12:30pm
Urgent Care: Monday to Friday 1:00pm – 11:00pm or 5pm – 11pm, weekends 8:00am – 6:00pm

About you:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and min. 2+ years of clinical experience
• An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
• Emergency and critical care experience advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Confidence in monitoring anaesthesia
• Ability to work well autonomously and also within a team environment
