Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Emergency Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch care to animals in emergency situations, contributing to the overall success and reputation of ARH Baulkham Hills. 

We have both Part Time or Full Time positions!

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent nursing care to patients in emergency and critical care situations.
• Assist veterinarians in medical procedures and surgeries.
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on patient status and offering support.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
• Participate in continuous education to stay current with advancements in veterinary nursing.

Qualifications:

• Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience post qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
