Get to Know the Role
The EUC Specialist is a Grade 3 specialist role responsible for managing defined end-user computing (EUC) operational outcomes and improving workplace technology experiences for Grabbers. You are expected to independently manage scoped operational workstreams, identify recurring user pain points, and lead service improvements through data, documentation, automation, and close collaboration with internal teams and managed service partners.
You will report to Manager II, Country IT (MY) and Manager II, Country IT (MY) will base it onsite in our Petaling Jaya office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Own day-to-day EUC operational outcomes for the assigned site or country scope, ensuring reliable support, service quality, and smooth end-user experience.
- Partner with managed service vendors to review escalations, track service performance, and ensure timely preventive and corrective actions are carried out.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve SOPs, user guides, operational records, and knowledge-base materials to improve service consistency and scalability.
- Work with other GTS teams and business stakeholders to resolve cross-functional issues and represent end-user operational needs in service or product discussions.
- Support governance, audit, and compliance activities by ensuring controls, operational practices, and asset data are accurate, traceable, and up to date.
- Use modern tools, automation, reporting, and AI-enabled assistants responsibly to improve troubleshooting, documentation quality, reporting efficiency, and operational productivity.
- Lead small to medium operational improvement plans, including asset lifecycle accuracy, onboarding and offboarding readiness, endpoint compliance, self-service enablement, and process standardisation.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- At least 3 years of experience in IT operations, end-user computing, workplace technology, service desk, or a related technology function.
- Demonstrated ability to independently own and deliver scoped operational workstreams, tasks, or projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate operational data and user feedback into practical improvements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across vendors, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
- Experience with IT service management, asset management, endpoint or workplace tooling, or cloud productivity environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service quality, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Exhibit digital and AI proficiency by leveraging automation, data analytics, or AI-driven resources to enhance output quality and operational speed, all while maintaining strict standards for security, data privacy, and precision.
Good to have:
- Good knowledge of cloud applications and modern workplace technologies such as Google Workspace, Jamf and Omnissa Workspace ONE.
- Experience in handling IT operational improvement projects or regional coordination work.
- Experience creating clear SOPs, user guides, process documentation, or self-service support content.
- Exposure to workflow automation, scripting, dashboarding, or AI-assisted support practices would be an addition.
