The Communications team promotes and protects Grab's reputation in Singapore. We tell the stories behind our products, people and impact, helping audiences understand how Grab creates value for consumers, partners and communities.

Whether engaging with media, creators, policymakers or the wider public, we bring together corporate, consumer and digital storytelling to build trust, strengthen our brand and support business growth

Get to Know the Role

Reporting to the Singapore Communications Lead, you will help shape how Grab shows up in the market across corporate reputation, consumer storytelling, and digital engagement. You will work with business, operations, and marketing teams to develop and deliver communications that are relevant, and grounded in Singapore's culture and communities.

You will move between strategic messaging and hands-on execution. You are comfortable managing media relationships, supporting issues communications, developing creator-led ideas, and keeping campaigns, events, and agency work on track.

This is a fully onsite at our Grab's one-north office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • You will develop integrated communications plans that support Grab's brand and our priorities in Singapore.
  • You will partner with business, operations, and marketing teams to turn company priorities into clear stories across earned, owned, and creator channels.
  • You will lead daily media engagement, including handling enquiries, coordinating interviews, and identifying opportunities for executive profiling.
  • You will develop locally relevant story angles and digital-first content ideas that connect with Singapore audiences.
  • You will support issues and crisis communications by drafting statements, Q&As, and stakeholder materials, and by aligning with senior communications leaders on messaging.
  • You will deliver media and creator activities, including campaigns, events, and partnership activations.
  • You will manage communications operations across agencies and internal stakeholders, including reporting, approvals, budget tracking, invoice coordination, and performance analysis.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • 6 years+ in corporate, consumer, or integrated communications, either in-house or at an agency.
  • Experience in media relations, issues management, and reputation building, with evidence of handling complex communications work in high-visibility environments.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into clear, audience-focused stories across traditional media, digital platforms, and social channels.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, including experience drafting media statements, Q&As, executive materials, and stakeholder communications.
  • Proven ability in working with marketing, brand, and creative teams on integrated campaigns, including creator programmes.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, agencies, and approvals with close attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore's media, creator, and digital landscape, with sound judgement on what will feel credible to local audiences.
