Get to know the Role
We are looking for an Omni Jabo Acquisition Senior Associate to lead and promote our merchant acquisition strategies. We believe you are strategic, growth oriented, possesses strong sales enablement capabilities, and demonstrates mature stakeholder management skills to independently expand our market selection as a high impact individual contributor. You will report to the Omni New Product Development Manager, working on-site at the Jakarta office.
The Day to Day Activities
- Acquisition Strategy and Pipeline Ownership: Develop end-to-end merchant acquisition strategies to grow the Omnicommerce ecosystem, from identifying high value target lists to unlocking strategic restaurant selections independently.
- Commercial Framework Development: Design attractive commercial structures, tailored offerings, and pricing guidelines that balance merchant attractiveness with Grab business profitability.
- Sales Enablement and Pitch Deck Design: Build comprehensive sales collateral, corporate pitch decks, and commercial proposal templates to equip field sales teams with the right knowledge to close deals faster.
- Data-driven Market Insights: Track acquisition performance metrics and sales pipeline conversion efficiency using internal dashboards to uncover high-growth opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Partnership with Upstream Marketing for campaign alignments, Product teams for feedback on merchant rejection reasons, and City teams for geographical expansion.
Qualifications
The Must Haves
- Have Heart, Hunger, Honour, and Humility.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in business development, commercial strategy, sales operations, lead management, or expert technology start ups.
- Track record in B2B corporate sales or merchant acquisition, with advanced experience in lead management and mastering sales pipeline stages.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft excel (can perform complex functions) or Google Sheets for analyzing sales funnels, tracking pipelines, and modeling commercial structures.
- Experience to manage framework builder who takes full individual ownership of acquisition outcomes and proactively creates tactical solutions to unlock difficult accounts.
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects in English, both written and spoken, to effectively drive alignments with internal leaders and merchant partners.
- Experience creating detailed demos that are tailored to customers' pain points with proven experience in structuring scalable commercial workflows and sales materials independently.
- Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
