GrabAds allows Advertisers, Agencies, and Merchants to engage the Grab Audience via innovative online and offline advertising experiences. Get to Know the Role

As part of Regional GrabAds SMB Strategy & Planning team, you will support various regional business development initiatives and co-create strategic business plans to drive self-serve ads growth. Promote and deliver self-serve advertising services to Grab's ecosystem participants. You'll work cross-functionally with leaders from GrabAds, Product, Marketing, Food & CE and relevant stakeholders to identify compelling advertising solutions for broad merchants adoption.

Understanding business levers and how to piece critical drivers together to grow business. The candidate will also enjoy challenging the status quo, chasing results, diving deep into troubleshooting and working with their peers to share solutions and raise the bar for the entire team. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Strategic Persuasion: Co-create and execute strategies and special projects to grow business potential via cross-functional and country enablement.
  • Performance Tracking: Oversee performance tracking, analysis, and reporting to ensure the financial health of business operations. Identify opportunities and escalate issues in collaboration with the data analytics team.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct industry and trend analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Business Insights: Consolidate and synthesize critical business insights for opportunities, learnings, and provide direction for business decision-making.
  • Leadership Alignment: Manage business review cadences and executive updates for leadership alignment.
  • AI & Process Innovation: Champion an AI learner/builder mindset by proactively identifying opportunities to leverage AI tools to identify business opportunities, automate workflows, build lightweight solutions, and drive operational efficiency.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Possess a BS/MS degree in mathematics, statistics, data science, business analytics/management, engineering, computer science, or another quantitative major.
  • 4-5 years of experience in strategy, market research, consulting experience or related analytical roles.
  • Sound understanding & experience of digital Ads Ecosystem.
  • Demonstrate a strong analytical aptitude and a keen interest in strategy.
  • Self-driven, curious, passionate about being involved in the business, growing fast, and able to adapt to a high work pace.
  • High AI & Digital Fluency: A strong curiosity and willingness to learn, adopt, and build with emerging tech and AI tools to solve complex business problems faster.
  • Ability to use data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, etc. is preferred.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills with the ability to transmit across different level stakeholders.
  • Be a skilled project manager and a high-EQ team player, capable of managing expectations in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
