The Business Process Improvement & Automation team (BPI&A) is a regional team responsible for driving process streamlining, re-engineering, and automation, enabling sustainable growth for our organization. The Digital Transformation Team is the Product arm of the BPI&A team, where we build internal products and platforms, empowering business stakeholders with the right tools to create value and increase efficiency. Get to know the role

We are looking for a talented and innovative Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack to join the team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly web applications and products. You will report to the Digital Transformation Engineering Manager and work onsite at Grab office, CMC Creative Space, D7, HCMC.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

You need to work closely with Business Users, Product Managers, Designers and other Engineers to understand the requirements, after which you will design an optimal solution. This will require following:

• Partner cross‑functionally to design, build, and evolve customer‑facing products and internal platforms
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable full‑stack code across front‑end UIs, APIs/services, data layers
• Own features end‑to‑end through the application lifecycle: planning, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, debugging, and iteration
• Proactively optimize performance and accessibility to deliver high‑quality user experiences
• Implement security, privacy, and data protection best practices across the stack
• Lead and participate in code/design reviews, providing actionable feedback, raising engineering standards
• Identify and drive architectural and design improvements to enhance scalability and reliability
• Mentor and coach junior engineers; provide hands-on support with debugging and problem solving
• Contribute to technical documentation, testing strategies, and CI/CD practices
• Other related duties as required by Team Lead

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• You will have 4 years+ of professional software development experience in an Agile development environment, developing user-centric applications
• Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures, and also front-end and back-end programming languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, ReactJS,VueJS..)
• Experience with DevOps and Cloud (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Experience with relational database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Experience with web services and RESTful API design
• Knowledge of working on version control systems
• Keen and prudent judgement and decision making
• Good English Communication Skills
