Get to Know the Team

The Singapore Operations team oversees, shapes, and grows Grab's business in Singapore. We contribute to Grab's vision by developing strategies and operational capabilities that create meaningful value for our community.

Within this, the Merchant Operations team represents the voice of our merchant-partners. We focus on delivering a high-quality merchant and consumer experience across the full lifecycle, balancing user needs with Grab's business goals.

We work with teams across Deliveries, GrabFin, OmniCommerce, Product, Finance, and Legal to operationalise projects and improve platform experiences at scale.

 

Get to Know the Role

As a Merchant Operations Intern, your main focus will be to strengthen operational foundations, identify gaps in current processes, rebuild workflows, and improve how we use data to support scaling.

You will support efforts to make operations more structured, efficient, and scalable by:

  • Dissecting inefficiencies and causes
  • Standardising processes and documentation
  • Improve data visibility and usage in daily operations

You will also support process and workflow development for new product or business launches, ensuring you set up operations and can scale them.

This role suits someone who is hands-on, structured, and drives to improve how things work. We are looking for a full-time intern that is keen to intern from May to December 2026.

 

Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • You will identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing operational processes, and propose improvements
  • You will support the rebuild and standardisation of workflows, SOPs, and documentation
  • You will consolidate and structure operational data to improve visibility and decision-making
  • You will support implementation of process improvements and track effectiveness
  • You will work with partners (e.g. Sales, Account Manager, Finance, Product) to roll out and increase adoption of new processes
  • You will support training and enablement to ensure execution across teams

Qualifications

Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Currently pursue a Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • You will apply an orderly approach to resolving complex tasks, with the ability to break down undefined challenges into clear, applicable steps.
  • You will manage simultaneous projects and adjust your focus as priorities and requirements change.
  • You will take ownership of your workstreams to move projects forward and adapt your workflow to support the needs of team partners.
  • You have basic data analysis skills, with exposure to tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar platforms to find marketing insights.
  • You will ensure precise results in your work, especially when managing logistical details and brand assets.
