Get to Know the Team
The Manado Rental Team is an established, tightly-knit group responsible for running our vehicle operations and supporting Grab drivers throughout the region. We are responsible for managing all local budgets and hitting our targets by collaborating closely across our Sales, Fleet, and Productivity departments. By working together as one united front, we ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our drivers always have the dependable backing they need to succeed.
Get to Know the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and Rental City Operation Lead to oversee the daily operations of our rental facility in Manado, Indonesia. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing all operational aspects of the location, ensuring exceptional service delivery. Reporting to the Manager, you will work onsite in our Manado Office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Lead, manage the operational team to achieve performance targets and maintain high service standards
- Oversee daily rental operations, including vehicle allocation, maintenance scheduling, customer transactions, and inventory management
- Monitor KPIs to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met while maintaining service quality
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline workflows and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
- Address operational challenges and customer escalations
- Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and business partners to support business growth
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- 2 years experience operations management in the rental, automotive, or fleet management industry
- Preferably has demonstrated leadership experience managing and motivating teams
- Experience with rental operations, including vehicle management, and customer service protocols
- Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and performance analysis
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Capability to converse in English on conversational level
