Get to Know the Team
The Planning & Operations team builds the data infrastructure and operational workflows that ensure GrabMart partnerships across Southeast Asia. You will partner with Supply Chain and Category Management specialists to design integration processes that allow retail partners to manage inventory and fulfilment operations across multiple sales channels. The team operates from our First Avenue Office in Malaysia, coordinating technical implementations and partner launches throughout the region.
Get to Know the Role
You will build data infrastructure, system integrations, and operational processes for GrabMart partnerships across Southeast Asia. You will construct data pipelines to track partner performance. You will manage technical integrations between GrabMart platforms and retail partner systems, such as POS, ERP, and WMS. You will design workflows that allow partners like Jaya Grocer, Lotte, and Robinsons to sell through multiple channels. You will connect our internal product and tech teams with external retail partners to resolve technical requirements and operational discrepancies.
This is a fully onsite role at our Malaysia's Petaling Jaya office and will report to the Head of Planning and Operations
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will develop data pipelines and automated scraping tools to track GrabMart marketplace metrics and partner performance data.
- You will maintain operational dashboards that monitor inventory flows, fulfilment status, and partner Service level agreement compliance across Southeast Asian markets.
- You will manage API and system integrations between GrabMart platforms and partner retail systems (POS, ERP, WMS and logistics systems).
- You will resolve technical integration failures and data transmission errors between GrabMart and partner platforms.
- You will design and implement commercial and logistics processes for onboarding new retail partners, ensuring operational readiness before launch.
- You will coordinate with Supply Chain and Category teams to align inventory, warehousing, and delivery capabilities during new partner launches.
- You will evaluate vendor solutions for retail technologies such as Internet of Things sensors, smart fulfilment tracking, and cold chain monitoring, providing technical recommendations based on scalability and integration requirements.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- 6+ years of experience in eCommerce operations, supply chain, or systems integration.
- SQL and Python proficiency to construct data extraction pipelines and automated scraping tools that capture marketplace and partner performance metrics.
- Experience with business intelligence platforms (such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI) to create dashboards tracking inventory flows, fulfilment status, and SLA metrics.
- Working knowledge of API protocols (REST, SOAP, or GraphQL) and direct experience integrating with retail management systems (POS, ERP, or WMS) to establish data exchanges between GrabMart and partner platforms.
- Experience in diagnosing technical integration failures and resolve data transmission errors between internal and external systems.
- Experience designing operational onboarding processes for retail or marketplace partnerships, including logistics setup procedures and commercial workflow documentation.
- Experience coordinating inventory, warehousing, and delivery requirements with Supply Chain and Category teams during retail partner launches.
- Proficiency in evaluating technology vendors and assessing hardware or software solutions against technical requirements, implementation complexity, and scalability needs for retail operations.
