Get to know the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to help us build strategic relationships with high-profile merchants and increase revenue. You will involve establishing and nurturing business relationships with our existing, prospective top merchants to spur growth in GrabFood.

This position will be reporting to Lead.

 

The Critical Task you will Perform

  • Engage our merchants and listen to their needs, feedback, and stay in close communications. Apply a proactive and understand the needs of our partners and provide solutions that lead to profitable business growth.
  • Create a compelling campaign by applying co-marketing partnership with our partners to bring value to our customers, which also improve more values back to our partners
  • Ensure the partners are growing with Grab. Take a data driven approach to estimate ROI and KPI analysis for each partner to grow basket size and create loyal customers.
  • Work with markets S&P, Growth, Marketing and Operation teams to make sure merchants have the best possible experience.
  • Collaboration and Synergy: Build deeper relationships with partners by collaborating in other areas such as OVO, GrabExpress and Grab For Business. You will identify synergetic opportunities which could benefit both Grab and our merchants in the long run.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills you will Need

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience of Sales Business Development, Account Management, financial services, or startup/tech industry.
  • Experienced in handling and dealing with partners (account management experience)
  • An experience driving revenue through partnerships
  • Experience discerning whether a prospect is a good fit for a product based on discovery conversations, comfortable with analyzing data to make decisions
  • Experience balancing multiple sales opportunities
  • Experience in managing people and partner experience. Understand how to build processes with Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects
  • Proficient in English communications
  • Experience with the on-demand delivery space, and food delivery in particular
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects
