Join the Strategy and Planning team at Grab - team that oversees and drive growth for the GrabFood business.

Working with Strategy, Product, Commercial and Operations, we are a vanguard for our platform's reliability, competition and market analysis including tracking, business model benchmarking, and translating insight that impacts Grab's business and customer every step of the way.

Get to Know the Role

In a hybrid work arrangement, stationed in Jakarta, you will report to the GrabFood Demand Manager, Strategy and Planning. You will take ownership of eater-app GrabFood strategy.

 

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Independently conduct comprehensive studies on merchant expansion, user engagement, and traffic conversion. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to optimize eater-app resources, focusing on consumer-centric enhancements derived from qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Design and build A/B tests across multiple touchpoints to improve conversion rates, user engagement, and overall campaign performance.
  • Maintain on the competitive activities and identify potential opportunities within the Online Food Delivery landscape, based on industry trends and competitive strategies.
  • Manage small team of 4 and monitor end-to-end execution of eater app plan to ensure accurate and smooth execution

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • 4+ years experience of strategic and analytical experience at leading management consulting firms and/or tech/ecommerce companies.
  • Experienced in e-commerce industry operation analysis, business analysis, data analysis, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business fields from top local or overseas universities, though we encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and spreadsheet software, is essential (experience with Google Sheets and App Script is an added advantage).
  • Demonstrate business level proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Demonstrate optimism, respect others, and work well in a team. Able to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds and responsibilities, maintaining healthy working relationships even during disagreements.
