Godolphin are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking Hydrotherapy Technician to join our small team based at Moulton Paddocks. 

Reporting to the Estate Foreman, the job holder is responsible for maintaining the equine pool, seawalker, spa and treadmill facilities to the high standards required for the training of Godolphin’s elite racehorses.

Key Tasks:

• Maintenance of the equine pool, spa and treadmill filtration systems.

• Maintenance of the seawalker.

• Conducting water analysis and administering chemical treatments of the equine pool, spa and treadmill facilities.

• Chemical stock control and ordering.

• Steam pressure washing rubber walkways and rails surrounding the facilities.

• General upkeep of the hydrotherapy grounds, including grass cutting, hedge cutting, painting, strimming and any other necessary maintenance duties.

The ideal candidate will possess a sound understanding of health and safety principles. Basic computer literacy for record keeping purposes would be an advantage. Training on the operation and maintenance of equine hydrotherapy facilities will be provided for the right candidate. An interest or understanding of horses is desirable.
