Job Description

  • Lead and supervise electricians and helpers involved in HVAC electrical installation activities.
  • Ensure proper installation of power cables, control cables, conduits, cable trays, isolators, starters, and junction boxes for HVAC systems.
  • Perform and supervise cable pulling, glanding, termination, and connection works for HVAC equipment.
  • Ensure correct termination of power supply, control wiring, sensors, actuators, and field devices.
  • Coordinate with HVAC technicians, BMS teams, and other disciplines for equipment connections and testing activities.
  • Assist in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC electrical systems.
  • Support functional testing of HVAC equipment, including motors, fans, pumps, starters, VFDs, and control panels.
  • Report daily progress, manpower status, material requirements, and site issues to the HVAC/Electrical Supervisor.
  • Ensure all electrical works are carried out safely following permit-to-work procedures and HSE requirements.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and ensure proper use of PPE and electrical safety practices.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure work areas are safe and organized.

Qualifications

  • ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in HVAC electrical installation works.
  • Experience working on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, or EPC HVAC projects is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of HVAC electrical installation and control wiring.
  • Understanding of HVAC equipment starters, VFDs, MCC connections, and isolators.
