Job Description

  • Supervise piping fabrication, installation, erection, modification, and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate daily activities of pipe fitters, welders, fabricators, riggers, and helpers.
  • Review isometric drawings, P&IDs, spool drawings, and construction specifications before execution.
  • Monitor pipe routing, alignment, support installation, and tie-in activities.
  • Ensure piping works are performed according to approved drawings, procedures, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, flushing, cleaning, reinstatement, and commissioning activities.
  • Verify material availability and coordinate with stores and procurement teams.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as ASME, ANSI, API, and client specifications.
  • Monitor welding activities and ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved WPS/PQR requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to HSE regulations, permit-to-work requirements, and safe lifting practices.
  • Track daily progress, manpower productivity, and material consumption.
  • Prepare daily reports and communicate work progress to management.
  • Support project completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in piping construction, fabrication, and installation.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Plant, Industrial, EPC, or Construction projects is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of carbon steel, stainless steel, GRE, HDPE, and other industrial piping systems.
