Job Description

This role is important in driving a company’s sales performance. Works closely with the Sales Manager to implement strategies, oversee daily sales operations, and ensure team alignment with business targets. This role involves coordinating with junior sales staff, managing client accounts, preparing sales reports, and helping with closing deals. The Assistant Sales Manager bridges communication between departments, assists in market analysis, and supports the team with training, motivation, and performance tracking.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline sales operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Manage assigned sales territory or industry sector to maximize revenue and market penetration.
  • Draft, review, and process sales agreements and service contracts in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities to increase customer account value.
  • Support, guide, and monitor the sales team to ensure achievement of individual and team targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present detailed sales performance reports to management.
  • Assist in setting and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Contribute to sales forecasting and support planning of future campaigns and business initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify service improvements and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, finance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of sales activities.
  • Track sales KPIs and analyze performance trends to evaluate team and individual effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field                                                                     5+ Years with supervisory experience.
