Job Description

Duties & day to day responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative services to the health and safety team in accordance with applicable organization policies and practices, referring to Line Manager as appropriate.
  • The general administration service to the team includes filing, data entry, typing and assisting in the management of communications and paperwork.
  • Assist Line Manager to liaise with external agencies in relation to health and safety matters (Civil Defense, Municipality, OSHAD, etc.)
  • Assist Line Manager to make improvements and implement required changes.
  • Prepare HSE statistics, weekly, monthly, and yearly as per format. Prepare HSE reports as assigned by Line Manager.
  • Collect, compile, and prepare investigation reports.
  • Achieve trainings as per the plan and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety.
  • Interact and co-operate with all members of the organization, its suppliers, and clients/customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Environmental Engineering or NEBOSH IGC.

Additional Information

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience level: 01-02 Years
  • Beginner level knowledge of HSE in contracting companies

Skills & Professional Requirements:

  • Beginner level knowledge of Health, Safety & Environment
  • Excellent time management and organizing skills.
  • English communication and reporting writing, data analytics.
  • Able to demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to problem solving with pleasant and articulate manner.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
