Job Purpose:

Assemble, fabricate, and install pipes and pipe systems according to specifications.Interpreting drawings, cutting and shaping pipes, ensuring the proper alignment and fit up of the pipes for efficient and safe operation of various industrial or construction projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the pipe fabrication requirements.
• Cut, shape, and prepare metal pipes using tools such as saws, pipe cutters, and grinders.
• Perform fit up to join pipes and fittings, ensuring strong and secure connections.
• Select appropriate materials, pipes, and fittings based on project requirements and specifications.
• Measure, mark, and layout pipe systems, ensuring accurate alignment and fit.
• Assemble and install pipe systems, including supports, brackets, and hangers to ensure stability and safety.
• Conduct pressure tests and inspections to verify the integrity and functionality of the fabricated pipe systems.
• Collaborate with supervisors/ foreman ,engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure compliance with project timelines and specifications.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment, to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.

High school diploma or equivalent.
