About the Role

We are looking for an HR Generalist with a strong focus on Labor Relations for a highly operational role within a manufacturing plant.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage labor relations (80% of the role)
  • Handle and follow up on employee relations and conflict resolution
  • Apply disciplinary actions and manage employee incidents
  • Interact with union representatives and employees
  • Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor (close to operations)
  • Ensure a positive work environment and provide support to different areas

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Labor Relations
  • Experience in manufacturing / plant environments

Required Skills

  • Strong people-oriented approach and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with regulations / certifications (ISO) is a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced English (preferred)
