Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees.
Job Description
- Provides senior level support in functional areas of Human Resources including but not limited to recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training and special projects
- Support HR Manager on core program rollout of compensation and performance management programs (merit planning, succession planning, equity)
- Works closely with HR Manager as needed on strategic HR initiatives that may include Performance Management, Work force Planning, Employee Learning and Development, Diversity, Compliance, Recruitment, Exit and/or Compensation-related action items
- Process FMLA and Workers Compensation claims
- Oversees/assists in the day-to-day delivery of Human Resources projects, programs, and strategies (communication, on-boarding, assimilation, talent management)
- Drive performance management initiatives for the business and problem resolution
- Ensure that the delivery of human resources products and services meets the needs of the business
- Counsel leaders and managers on employee relations issues and help reach appropriate resolutions
- Efficient project and change management measures and their implementation
- Proper employee and labor relations processes
- Negotiating necessary company agreements
- Handling day-to-day issues of employees with support of the local admin function
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with the emphasis in Human Resources or related field is required
- 3-4 years' experience in recruitment or Human Resources
- 1-2 years' experience with employee relations issues
- 1-2 years' experience with organizational design and change management
- 1-2 years' experience dealing with client groups outside the US
- 1-2 years' experience leading a team
- Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to interface with executive leadership, establish credibility and build effective relationships
