Job Overview Delivery Associate (DA) Helper

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with loading and unloading packages, ensuring proper manual handling practices to prevent injury.
• Support the safe operation of box trucks, vans, or courier vehicles during route driving and delivery tasks.
• Help with material handling using equipment such as pallet jacks or manual lifting techniques to move goods efficiently within warehouses or delivery sites.
• Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines, and safety protocols during all driving and delivery activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups.
• Support warehouse operations by organizing inventory, preparing shipments, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Use mobile devices to document deliveries, update route information, or communicate with team members as needed.

• Valid form of ID
• Ability to work as part of a motivated team in a fast-paced environment
• Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred.
• Experience in commercial driving, including box truck or van driving, is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper techniques; manual handling skills are essential.
• Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and experience with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks is a plus.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices in the workplace.
• Customer service skills with a friendly attitude when interacting with clients.
• Ability to work physically demanding shifts involving moving loads and navigating busy environments.
